I "fixed" the sound problem, by going to Control Panels, then Sound, then clicking Output and Built-In. Then I clicked Alert Sounds. The sound worked after that. I'm not sure if that was me fixing it, or what. But that's what I did.

Just used this video to set this up no problem in 2022 and I am so excited. Just lost my iMac G3 to PAV failing so getting OS 9 running on my modern PC is a dream come true!

Woah, even under emulation that was much more snappy than the original hardware, only the blue and white G3 was even close. This performance was far above average for a PPC mac without ATI video acceleration.

A lot of people have been asking me to make the sound tutorial that I promised at the end of the video. I tried to make the video a few months ago, but the sound mysteriously started working when I launched SheepShaver. Now that the problem is resolved on my installation of Mac OS 9, I have no way to make the video anymore since I cannot fix the sound when it is already working fine. Sorry!

I had all the settings correctly in the SheepSaver GUI, but it brings me back to the blinking question mark with the floppy disk. Does anyone know how to fix this?
