Stim pistol will be a lot more viable if you can use it to stim yourself as well. It could open up more options to those of us who normally prefer the medic armors

It looks like the backpack for the drone has a green capacity meter on the side of the tanks. It likely does have to land and refuel occasionally. Especially since they mentioned "fixing" the fact that the laser one never stops shooting.

As far as the Gas Resistance armor perk goes, I hope it's higher than 75%, unlike fire status which you can just dive out of the AoE to stop the burning and then heal, gas still ticks away your health even if you dive out of the gas cloud, in fact with gas it's better to immediately stim and then run out of the cloud

I think all the buffs are great! Keep everything powerful and if it becomes too easy, ramp up the amount of enemies!

I think they should make it so when divers are in gas there is a 1 second period where they make a MMMGH choking sound like they're holding their breath before they start taking damage that way you can get a warning to get out before you start taking DOT that you cant just dive to remove.

"But the gas is corrosive you cant just hold your breath" yeah but you're wearing armor with a helmet that can block out acid rain so debatably you shouldnt take any damage

As someone who likes to run support builds from time to time such as using the ammo backpack, smoke grenades, smoke and EMP strategrems, I like the concept of the stim gun

RESISTANCE to gas? aw man
It should be buffed to an immunity to the DOT as well as the fire because those perks are so basic and not as universally applicable as the other better passives.

I hope they buff a lot of armor passives in this next update because some of them really need it

Gas Grenade will be lethal when paired with the Flamethrower.
Stack two DoTs on Chargers/Impalers/etc, add EMS Orbital for more effect.

Considering that I have used orbital gas strikes in nearly every mission since February, I am VERY pleased to see a gas themed war bond. Also, while I doubt the healing pistol will see much randoms use, I do think organized groups could make heavy use of it. It leaves you less reliant on resupplies and random stim packs for health. Thus providing better longevity when on the move.

as someone who never uses a secondary, the grenade pistol changed everything because now i can close nests solo, in my group a stim pistol would be amazing! we have actually talked about this alot!

The stim pistol gives me hope that we'll get a medical themed warbond at some point. I just wanna be a medic again, like in the first helldivers.

The Stim pistol adds to a gameplay style that is encouraged slightly with the Medic passive, although most people use the perk selfishly. I hope that with the addition of the Stim pistol, they eventually release a Stim guard dog and/or even a crossbow variate that shoots full stims (they said the stim pistol fires a minor health so my guess is that it only heals 25% or 50% health with each shot).

I love it when they add new damage types and new damage-type resistant armors. Adds another level of interest to which armor you pick for each game.

If the stim pistol is anything like the grenade pistol then it should be worth it since you would be getting free stims from ammo boxes (similarly to how you'd get grenades for the grenade pistol from ammo boxes) plus I love being a medic in hd2 (from time to time I go to teammates and stim them whenever I feel like it)
