And yet fans need to be entertained and going out to buy a ticket only to find out that the show is cancelled in Israel for those reasons doesn't help things. I take Kobe's point about not disappointing fans. If you're booking a world tour and you don't want to play in Israel for whatever reason, then just say I'm not going, that's fair enough.

I agree with them in the most part, because music can (not always) expand free thinking. Israel certainly needs that, just as much as a country like Canada for example (if not more so). But I am happy that the boycott has bought more awareness of what is happening to the region; which is more important than any band, musician or fan. I will flip the argument and ask the question; now that Waters has taken an anti-israeli government stance, would he be welcomed back to Israel? If not then the 'free and open world' Kobi has described does not exist.

Sad to see talented musicians being so blind \ apathetic to what's going on in the world.

Truth is; Israel is an apartheid state that thrives on terror. (No offense to Israeli people who are against their governments policies).

Respect to these humans of conscience who refuse to play there (Waters, Chomsky, Carter etc)

You know when I can't understand you Im left wondering if you said something decent and worthwhile or something hateful, idiotic and/or chauvinistic. Im sure its a beautiful language. But I can't understand it.
