Brilliant video man, this is the secret sauce to consistent profitability. Without understanding this you don't stand a chance.

I agree with the 1% rule for new traders, I was using 2% when I first began seeing profits and it was great at first. But the drawdown got too deep too fast and threw me off my game for a while and I began making mistakes.

Once I dropped down to 1% I was fearless again and it felt good. Almost zero stress and frustration during losing streaks. Which my girlfriend is happy about haha

It takes the same amount of time for two traders who experienced a draw down to get out of a draw down regardless if the other is risking 1%, 2% or 5%. The force is constant. The one risking 1% can be only 5% down compared to the one risking 5% who has 25% draw down, will still struggle as much as the one with 25% draw down to get back to break even. If u know your strategy can't lose 20 times in a role, u can risk 5%.
I have two separate accounts, I trade both accounts at the same time with the same pairs at the same time. The account am risking 5% on is doing better but the profit percentage is the same

Great video and very well explained! The only problem is for people starting out with smaller accounts such as 1-2k with your 1% rule they would only be trading $10-$20 which if you are going for a 10-20% move that doesn’t even cover commission fees after making a profit.
