Real-Life Professor Farnsworth from Futurama!

Good news, everyone! After creating the lifelike Zoidberg costume for us earlier this year, effects artist Frank Ippolito takes on another makeup challenge from the world of Futurama. This time, it's Professor Farnsworth! Watch Frank bring the professor to life with sculpting, molding, and casting of prosthetics, and then applying the makeup on an actor to unveil at the Tested stage show!

Honestly the most impressive thing is how not creepy he looks

Like this honestly disproves the uncanny valley principle. By all accounts this should be in the deepest recesses of that valley but it still manages to be kinda cute and sweet and empathetic and expressive and I find that really awesome.

Awesome! It's amazing how realistic you can make it look, despite the head being an odd shape. I'd love to see Frank make a prosthetic of a real-life Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.
