So lovely. I had been avoiding polishing this one myself as it's so popular and there are 554 others to learn instead, but it is one of my most favorites. I was struggling with phrasing, though, as most people play this "straight" and "mechanical", and I was unable to unhear it played that way. So, listening to this several times was quite helpful. I don't want to emulate you too much, but it provokes some good ideas given recordings can't exist of Scarlatti himself!

I love this tempo, which I think gives the music its full expression. And the use of those luftpauasen is very effective, too, in communicating the feeling in the piece. I am now happy to be a subscriber.
