I don't understand all the comments complaining about Quidditch not being in Hogwarts Legacy. The way that this is designed on a fundamental game level is completely different than anything Legacy had. This is a primarily multiplayer/solely-Quidditch campaign mode. Legacy had no room for Quidditch to take center stage. Had they put Quidditch in, it would have been non-replayable 3-4 games over the course of the entire game. This allows for Quidditch (a sport game) to shine in a way unavailable in Legacy (an action RPG that didn't have great flight mechanics).

People are saying this is WB "milking" the fanbase of money by releasing Quidditch as a stand-alone game as if the BEST version of Quidditch didn't also come in a stand alone game. The only time Quidditch has been put into a Harry Potter game fully WAS a stand alone game, every other version was just a Seeker minigame in the mainline games that didn't stand up to the stand-alone game. The ONLY way for them to have fully satisfied all of the people that wanted Quidditch in Legacy was to build an entire additional game mimicking the stand-alone game within Legacy, which isn't at all what they promised Legacy would be. And they absolutely shouldn't have done it either.

I played in the playtest for this game. The graphics work really well for the pace of play and the speed of play. It allows you to not get lost in the blades of grass or moving particles while playing a competitive game at a fast pace. It allows for really cool character customization options. Its an art style choice and it works well for the game, and pays homage to the original Quidditch game. Not every game has to have photo-realism as the art style.

TL:DR You can't call this game "milking customer's wallets" when the last time Quidditch was done properly was another stand-alone game.

Since it's a Day 1 for PS Plus, I will try it. But it's a shame it's not a DLC for Hogwarts Legacy since I prefer that game visuals...
