Since his grandfather was a central minister then, he acquired most of the vehicles in Avadi. They were bought at a throwaway price, max price would be 50 to 60 k. The bidding price for a common man will be 1.5 lacs. Also most of these were restored locally. He is more of a dealer than a distinct car collection guy. He had a bad reputation then as the bidders were not able to bid the vehicle he had selected and since it was their livelihood too. There's no point in boasting as a great collector.
