Bizarre psycho ex story: My ex husband is very active in his church, and they put on a Christmas play that cast my daughter. The play was about a man who committed murder and was let off the hook by God himself 🤦‍♀️
My ex was the star, the exonerated murderer. And yes, he's a psychopath. It was bewildering to watch this play, I'd bet he wrote it. I just don't understand how CHURCH would think this play sends a wholesome message

Omg I literally screamed at the first story cause the same thing happend to me! That ahole was gaslighting, manipulating, guilttripping and cheating on my like crazy while telling everyone we were no longer together and that i was the crazy ex he couldn’t get rid of while he also constantly accused me of doing all those things

The psychology of victim blaming is that in order to convince ourselves that we are safe and not constantly worry about being victimized, we unconsciously look for ways a person could be different from us that we assume contributed to a person being a victim. It maintains the “it can’t happen to me” story we tell ourselves as we go through life. Not a good thing, but a natural survival instinct that does not go away if we don’t have any insight.
