Thank you for showing the beauty of Fermor house but your odd choice of music brings me to ask what kind of music today is heard in this part of Greece and also would you research when Patrick and his wife lived here?
When I lived as child in Cyprus in 1960s and again in 1980s the music of those days has forever remained with me
and would like to know what local music filled Fermor own heart when he lived in Greece

I think Mr Fermor and his wife designed and built the house themselves on land they bought after the war, stunning property and location

απλα σκεφτομαι και λεω οτι τελικα δεν ειμαστε τιποτα..ενας ανθρωπος με τετοια συμβολη στην εξελιξη του δευτερου παγκοσμιου πολεμου, με τοση αγαπη για την ελλαδα καθισε μετα εδω που εγραψε ιστορια και τιμησε τον τοπο..εφτιαξε το σπιτι που ονειρευοταν και η μια του ζωη ειναι σαν δεκα αλλων..και ετσι απλα εφυγε και αυτος και εμεινε το σπιτι να θυμιζει οτι σημασια δεν εχει μονο να γεννιεσαι αλλα και το τι στιγμα αφηνεις πανω σε αυτο το κοσμο μετα απο το πολυ συντομο περασμα σου...τι να πρωτοπεις για αυτον τον ανθρωπο, τον αγωνιστη, τον ποιητη, το παλικαρι , τον ανθρωπο....ισως καπου απο εκει ψηλα ακομα να καμαρωνει το σπιτι του αλλα και τον ομορφο κολπο της καρδαμιλης που τοσο αγαπησε...
