First Look: Setting Up the eBook to Sell on Barnes & Noble Press

Today, I go through the process of setting up the eBook to self-publish on Barnes & Noble Press. It's a bit slower than using KDP, and I have an issue toward the end.

Barnes & Noble Press is the brand's self-publishing platform for nook eBooks. You can also create print versions of your book.

It works much in the same way as Amazon, only the website itself is exceptionally slow. While the account screen is far more aesthetically pleasing compared to KDP, in my opinion, it's not as efficient. Still, I am pretty excited about getting my eBook available on the Barnes & Noble platform.

In this video, I use an ePub that I created of my book using Reedsy, which I am recording a video about in the near future. I also used the cover image I created using Canva, the same image I used for KDP, actually.

The only real issue I had was the address verification for tax information and royalties. Hopefully, I can get this figured out soon.

In any case, using Barnes & Noble Press is just one more step to take to expand my reach for an audience. Not to mention taking the next step to seeing my books in the B&N storefront.
