The reason I have an iPhone 5S is because of iOS, not build quality, and I'm sure that's the case for virtually all iPhone owners. Android L looks promising, but who knows when this phone will get the update, and I'm still on the fence about jumping to the other side. Right now I play with a rooted Nexus 5 and Galaxy S3 running CM11 and while the tinkering is fun, I still feel like Android is beta software compared to iOS; where simplicity, function, and camera always brings me back. 

Anyhow, those are my thoughts.

Nice video, I am an iPhone user and regarding android and the alpha, I think that samsung dropped too much of what we know and love about them just to make it fit the 4.7" screen I would rather have a slightly larger screen and take advantage of the much better GS5

Man, I'm a Samsung fan but this is just an epic fail. They should take their time releasing their devices no matter how bad sales are for one device. They've released too many tablets this year and now the S5, S5 prime and now the Alpha. Instead of throwing mediocre phones out here everytime, you have a full year to top your competition and come up with something amazing. Why waste that?! 😒

I currently own a Xperia Z from T Mobile but have Always loved the Galaxy line of Samsung phones in comparison to ANY MODELS iPhone has put out!!! IPhones I agree with someone else's comment wher they said they were boring! And they are! The only change I've seen so far is that the elongated their screen!!! Whatever iPhone!!! And now it's gonna be thinner on the iPhone 6! Yea, nice of them to keep catching up on what plenty of other phones.have been doin FOR A GOOD WHILE Lmao! Keep tryin iPhone, we admire your tenacity!!! ;-)

Regarding the memory card slot, I think that people want certain things to be easy, where to store something is a question that you want your phone to answer. So having internal and external memory has been, in my opinion, bullish*t from the start. (I'm talking only storage, NOT pricing)

Hi guys!
I have them both but i think alpha is better in every aspects, feeling much better in your hands and ears, great camera especially the UHD video, faster, great battery( almost 2 days) a lots of things to do  with him. Don't get me wrong, i like iPhone but i think  5s is the most beautiful iPhone. Between Alpha and 5s  il choose ALPHA. You can upgrade the battery of alpha from 1860 mAh to 2500mAh original one!!!!

Bro i just got new info from someone who has been to the russian convention of galaxy alpha
He said that the back is removable and so is the battery
And the phone is also capable of filming uhd (4k) video
