An introduction to RMAN part 1

RMAN is an oracle backup, restore and recovery tool provided with the oracle RDBMS. RMAN is used widely by DBA's to perform backup and recovery of large oracle databases that run on ASM and non ASM platforms. RMAN is also used to perform backup of RAC databases. In this session I am attempting to explain the basic working of RMAN and its architecture. I hope you find this video useful and informative.
