And the Duke and Duchess are to be commended for doing such a great job of maintaining their business and house!

Your videos are better quality than what we get on the telly. Relaxing and educational, and a beautiful place to visit. Wish I could work in one of these. Imagine having your lunch in one of those gardens. An unfortunate reminder of wealth inequality but still nice to indulge in the escapism that’s comes with viewing these gorgeous homes.

Natural and wild gardens for me. I have been watching because I have an interest in historic buildings and architecture, but the gardens today revealed to me what beautiful photography you take.

My hobby is seeing and hearing about palaces and castles of England, Scotland and France. Also the people who lived in them. Thankyou for your tours, they are wonderful to watch. Technology has its advantages. I'll never see them in person!

I adore flowers. My answer is, both types of gardens. I love history. The dukedom of Devonshire is especially interesting to me. I hope to go here onw day. Thank you for another wonderful video.

Having been twice in the last few weeks, A weekend for the bonfire and fireworks and then this weekend for Chatsworth at Christmas. The house was truly splendid with the theme 20 years of Christmas displays at the house. A fantastic variety of shops to buy that extra special Christmas presents. Looking forward to further visits in the spring 💐

Beautiful estate. I would say I much prefer the natural and wild gardens, but the grounds overall seem peaceful

Beautiful just doesn’t describe this piece of history. I admire the family that works so hard to keep it going and keeping it open to the public. History is important to preserve. Thank you for another amazing piece of history. Are there places preserved of how the little people lived? Would enjoy seeing. Hope you have a blessed week.

Chatsworth is a truly magnificent estate . I think that a person would need more than one day to really see the place . The gardens alone would take a good day to enjoy to the fullest . I would want to have the time to enjoy looking at the house the furnishings and the art also . The Devonshire's have put a lot of effort into preserving Chatsworth and it looks to be successful .

While the formal, sculptured gardens are very pleasing to the eye I much prefer the wild, natural setting. Thanks so much for a great tour! ❤

Thank you for this video which was a gentle walk down Memory Lane for me. My first school trip at the age of 7 and then a few more visits as an adult, I hope to go back again so thank you for re igniting my interest in a beautiful place.

Loved your Bakewell and Chatsworth videos. You were very lucky with the weather. Hope you get the opportunity to visit Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall at some point.

P.S. I have to admit I love the formal gardens and long sweeping lawns with strategically placed trees, 'faux' rivers, and ornate greenhouses. Such things are rare as they require so much land, that most of us will never own. A pretty jumble of bright colors is a joy as well, but within our reach.

@MemorySeekers It takes great skill and attention to detail, the lovely manner in which you allow us to see through your eyes. The beautiful camerawork is doubly enhanced by your wonderfully pleasant, calm narration. Somehow, 'accompanying' you on your tours manages to avoid feeling virtual. I don’t know how you do it, but your videos are borderline medicinal!
Just as one can so often feel a photographer’s emotions towards a human subject the instant one looks at a photograph, the love and appreciation of each of the subjects of your videos comes through so tangibly. On behalf of those of us who have not been able to travel due to Covid, thank you so, so much for allowing us to accompany you to these gorgeous places, see through your eyes, and end up feeling renewed and refreshed as a result.
