I'd say Seth's progression in Fablehaven is there, it's just subtle enough that it's hard to pick up on. You might want to take a closer look at the pages before Seth heals Graulas vs the pages before opening the window on midsummer eve. They're drastically different.

Honestly my opinion is probably controversial, but I think the fact that Seth threw the unforgiving blade in the source was a good thing. Honestly I have always been a fan of Seth and I thought that if he ever changed from dark to light, I wouldn't like him anymore, but I was completely wrong. If anything, I like him even more than before! I think it's because he is way more powerful but I'm not sure. Besides, I like it when something is rare. What I mean by that is for example being a shadow charmer is extremely rare but when Seth became a shadow healer, his powers became even more rare. At least thats my opinion. I hope people understand what I'm trying to say.

Have you read “Path of the Ranger” by Pedro Urvi? I have a feeling you would love it.

I'm from Poland and I have to wait longer for the translation of this book :( do you recommend to wait?

I find this book the weakest of the lot. Seth's arc is the best thing of the series but the ending kind of hijacked it.

And I think dragon watch is way better then Fablehaven, I feel like the books are better and I like ronodin the dark unicorn better then the Sphinx villain from Fablehaven . Also have you read the land of stories series I really recommend it if you liked this series
