I can't argue with you about it being unnecessary, but omg I loved it, possibly the most out of the Legacy books. I also liked Muhrder's book A LOT. It did feel abridged though, I think Ward is struggling with how much external action to show without taking away from the main couple, so she seems to be dialing it back from the way she's written the BDB books since Blay and Qhuinn. I hope she doesn't continue doing it this way though, because I felt like the "jumping around" felt like a natural progression for a series this long.

Just finished The Thief so Saviour next for me. Oo I didn't realise you haven't read the Angels books and it does cross over so you definitely need to read those.

I agree that this book was kind of unnecessary to the overall BDB plot line. Nothing really happened except Boone having an HEA and Butch going back to his detective roots. The murder mystery fell flat for me because the motivation was weak. Also, the timeline is really messed up now. The Thief, The Savior, Blood Fury, and Blood Truth have all taken place in the same month of January. I wish JR Ward would move on to a different month already! I did like that Syn's character was fleshed out more. I think his story is going to be really tragic and heartbreaking and I can't wait until April.
