I love Duff's use of high/low dynamics. He's always using octaves and going higher to excellent effect. I hadn't noticed this detail about underlining the snare. Fuckin great. I like to think of the bass as a melodic percussion instrument sometimes.

This is very informative. Your content on Duff is awesome. He's one of my favorites too. Maybe my favorite. Definitely top 3.
