Ringing the Byodo-in Temple Bell in Hawaii

Ringing the bon-sho, or sacred bell, at the Byodo-in Buddhist temple in Hawaii is supposed to give you happiness, blessings, and a long life. You're supposed to ring the bell once before you enter the temple to cleanse yourself of evil spirits and temptation.
