My Ronnie wasn't so scared, and stayed in one room for a month, and when she started exploring the rest of the house... oh god.
She sleeps all day long so she has energy to terrorize the entire place at night.

My son and his cat recently moved home. Snowy, the cat, is very standoffish. I've been trying all sorts of interactions to get her to relax: treats, toys, etc. What has finally worked? Every morning she sits next to me and watches an episode of Simon's Cat. Eyes wide, ears forward, totally engaged in the morning's show. When it is over I get a long, slow blink and then she goes off and hides until her human returns from work. I am in awe of cats. Thanks for such great fun!
