Crime in US has skyrocketed under Biden and Harris, Trump says

Former President Donald Trump said there has been an influx of "crime-ridden cities" in many parts of the U.S. since Vice President Kamala Harris --- and President Joe Biden -- took office. He listed off statistics about crime rates in the nation, claiming there has been a 43% overall increase in violent crime, including a 58% percent increase of rape and an 89% increase in aggravated assault.

Trump went on to say that under Biden and Harris, assaults on police officers are up by at least 32%, with many assaults on cops going unreported. He said police are shot 16% more, as well.

"The day I take office is the day that Kamala's crime wave comes to an end," Trump said.
