Ukraine cannot trust the USA. The USA did not honor its promis to defend Ukraine. The USA denied access to parts for USA weapons. The USA wants Ukraine to pay for donated obsolete weapons at an as new price. SHAMEFUL.

A permanent ceasefire should require Russia returns all land, prisoners, children be returned to Ukraine, and repay for all damage inflicted; allowed to join NATO with no restrictions.

Okay, a 30 day ceasefire. I don't have a lot of trust in anything that comes out of Trump's White House, which has showed a level of raw incompetence previously thought impossible.
