Heyo! This is for anyone wondering how you get things out of a glue trap (If you even use them)
Use some type of cooking oil, like olive oil or vegetable oil, it works like a charm!

olive oil by far is the best method, I've seen a couple videos on how to release reptiles from glue traps.

Regardless, she was determined to help and that's all that matters, kudos to her!

I protect my lizards/skinks around my house at all costs. They take of the bugs! I’ve rescued two I found inside my work office and brought them home too!

Aww boogie.. I did this once with a (teenage-ish) rat.. he got stuck on a glue trap and I secretly went into the kitchen got some olive oil and put him in a huge bucket and poured a bunch of the oil on the glue.. that helped him get off the glue and he kept jumping high.. as scared as I was, I was determined to save the poor guy so I took a big food container and put some food in there for him.. caught him in the container and he was fed till the morning when I let him free outside. I named him Buster.. I hope he is enjoying his second chance at life wherever he is.. little shmutz

Glue trap was a death trap, poor little guy just laying there seeing dead bodies everywhere {shiver}….. he lived to scare another old lady, who sees it and thinks SNAKE!

We're the most advanced, yet we come up with barbaric ways to take something out like this- Thank you for helping the poor skink. I had one in a classroom as a kid, and learned then to respect them.
