I am kinda frustrated at how Netflix India chooses to spend money on Indian content...most of them seems like they are catered to International audience and Upper class rather than common middle class people...and it frustrates me because Amazon India is producing some of best Indian shows who many common Indian youth can relate to...there is nothing wrong with shows with international taste because i have devoured so many Netflix teen drama shows like Sex Education and Stranger Things but when the same setting is used in India, i cannot for the love of God relate anything to any of it...

Although it's an Indian adaptation, I think Zoya has kept the Characters so Western-looking in order to appeal to the Western audience & beyond. That's a huge "maybe" though.

The love triangle 📐 in the Archie comics was also inspiration for Karan Johar in KKHH. In fact, Anupam Kher's principal is almost a dead ringer of the principal from Riverdale High in the comics. If anyone is interested there was an Archie and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover as well in the comics.

Agastya Nanda who is playing Archie is the great grandson of Raj Kapoor from his dad's side and the grandson of Amitabh Bacchan from his mom's side.

I am fine with nepo kids being huddled together in small film like this...this is not a mega bollywood blockbuster launching pad like some other nepo kids had....i have nothing against these actors...i firmly believe in giving them chance to act but not in starring roles in their first debut...let them make debut in small supporting roles and earn then credit and merit and then if the become great actors give them starring roles..meanwhile the starring roles today should go to well deserving hardworking outside industry people who hv shown their merit and people are eager to see them succeed

Now the time has come to give most importance to our writers (and directors), they should be paid handsomely, for making highest level of storytelling, filmmaking, originality, localized Indian stories, and also genre defining, genre bending, landmark movies. Also this will insure that more new talent come to story writing industry

How could an Archies fan not recognize the characters. Archie, veronica, betty, reggie, jughead and dalton are so, so obvious. And to think last time I was anywhere near an Archie comics was in 1980s
