It does not mean any of that, really. The Catholic church changed it to "use the Lord's name", but the Bible says "take the name of the Lord thy God." A woman sometimes "takes the name" of the man she marries. The sin is this: Saying you are a man or woman of God, and then, under that guise, doing ungodly things. That's all it means. It's easy, but nobody gets it.

Though I am glad you are talking about this subject, Matthew 6:9-13 is NOT the Lord's prayer. In verse 9 it says, "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." Jesus needed NO forgiveness! The true Lords' prayer or the Jesus prayer in in John 17, I suggest you read it and see it! Could it be that you are using the Lord's name in vain yourself?
