Personally I'm super 50/50 on AI. This is how I feel like they should be used! To bring about rough ideas to make your own things instead of just stealing from other artists, jumbling them up in a pot, and then letting a robot scoop out the contents and plop it on canvas as its own art.

I thought the pink and white dragonfruit flower on the AI cake was just piped dragonfruit-flavored buttercream (like how you pipe buttercream roses) but I think it's cool you tried to go a natural route with a real dragonfruit on top. I like how the yellow slices turned out. The flavors of the cake sound delicious! Good job :)

You did so well! The texture on the side of the cake is spot-on and considering the decoration on the top just can't be real, you got pretty darn close to recreating them! All in all it looks really really good.

The best channel collaboration EVER - to see my favorites join up was sheer joy. I saw the Sorted video first and was amazed with the boy's effort. You had a calming effect on them, especially Mike - as he is known for his "Huddlestorms"!!! The final cakes were beautiful. I then got to watch your collab with Ben; what a wonderful pairing. Such an innovative idea of using AI to come up with the idea and then watching you both plan and then execute such a great looking cake. Can't wait for future collaborations and see what wonders you come up with. Keep up the great work.

It’s like finding out two old friends know each other - thank you for the collab! I probably would have made the dragonfruit flower on top with something other than an actual piece of dragonfruit. The rest of the cake was SO amazing and that was its weakest link. But I would have lost patience long before getting to the detail. Your work with the green frosting was stellar!

I just LOVE discovering new channels like this, specially on topics such as food and creativity and this is the perfect intersection! As a fan of sortedm I'm a better chef than baker, especially when it comes to decorating, my energy is usually low when the thing comes out out the owen. But it's amazing to watch someone make something as creative as this! So impresses!

I think agar agar jelly would have been great for this project, it provides the translucency of the dragonfruit portion and it would have been easier to mould too. Coincidentally, it also tastes great with pandan, haha.
