Hi Amanda, no the season is not over yet, we had hurricanes forming back in 2005 up until late december that year, in fact we had to restart naming hurricanes for the second round with six additional greek letters, after the last one on the list, hurricane WIlma hit Miami on Oct 24th, 2005. We were lucky enough that none of those very late season hurricanes hit Florida, but we had in total 27 different tropical systems that year, the last storm forming in late december 2005 was named Zeta, and lasted until January 6, 2006, rgs
