Which exotic animals need to be sedated in order to receive medical treatment?

Hedgehogs need to be sedated to receive medical treatment because they ball up when handled. They must be anesthetized to do an oral exam, check their abdomen, listen to their heart and lungs, and trim their nails. Not many other animals have to be sedated other than hedgehogs.
