Another great vid Gav. Iron Maiden are probably my favourite band, and it was refreshing (albeit shocking!) to see a ranking so vastly different to what’s gone before. I was horrified to see seventh son & somewhere in time so low! 😂However it was great to see piece of mind so high. Good work.

KILLERS #1. No doubt about it.

Its a shame you came in after, but then again, all you need is ears to know.

Make no mistake, I dig all the LPs through "Seventh Son, " but nothing, absolutely nothing reaches the heights of KILLERS. And I mean, by way of badass maturity, ethereal sonics and blistering vocals from Paul D.

I still remember propping up the fantastic LP cover on my white Marshall in late '81/early '82 for one of our inspired sessions. Everyone loved it quite dearly.

OK, so this was educational! The only Maiden record I know is The Number of the Beast!

Nice video, no big surprises in your ranking, I can't disagree about your n 1 pick.

Hey Gav. Great ranking. Somewhere In Time would be #2 for me. They are the band I’ve seen the most in concert, 9 tours and counting🤘- also - I gave you a shout out in my latest video, it’s my entry into the Around The World contest. Cheers

Great collection. Fear Of The Dark is great I would rank higher. Especially in front of the more recent ones. I’d swap it with Senjitzu in my ranking. Can’t get into it. Each to their own though. Agree with your number one.

I only have three Maiden albums, but interestingly, they are all at or near the top of your list.
Ranked bottom is Piece of Mind. In truth I only bought this for The Trooper, but I also love Revelations and Flight of Icarus. None of the other tracks really grab me.
Next comes Powerslave. I can't believe you didn't mention The Duellists. For me that's right up there with the epic title track and Rime.
Sitting at the top is The Number of the Beast. Invaders is a bit of a mis-step, but then they don't put a foot wrong.
I think I'm going to have to check out the eponymous debut based on your rankings. And I always loved that Lucozade advert!

So glad to see the debut getting some love! Not to ruin my ranking but going off my profile photo, you can tell how much I love it haha. Subbed just for that mate, great video!

Hello! I think The X Factor and Virtual XI are very underrated albums. I also think Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is very overrated.
My five favorite albums are:
1.Killers
2.Piece of Mind
3.Powerslave
4.The X Factor
5.Brave New World

You don't need to give reason why you like Iron Maiden so much. They are a fantastic band. Question: Did you know Wolfsbane music before Blaze joined Maiden? If not, do you know it now? I didn't mind Blaze being in Maiden because I was a huge fan of his work before, but in retrospect, he was never really going to be able to fill Bruce's shoes was he. He can barely sing, and Bruce has few rivals when it comes to vocal agility. No Prayer for the Dying was my my entry point with IM. I didn't like it much. Fear of the Dark wasn't much better either IMO. A controversial opinion that I will air here is that I think Blaze's Silicon Messiah was a better album than Maiden's Brave New World released in the same year. It's an opinion that didn't make me popular at the time. Seventh Son... is my favourite. Otherwise I think your list is spot on. Cheers
