VIN VL29G1B455261

This car was originally from South Carolina, until it was purchased in August of 1998 by the gentleman that we purchased it from. The car started life as a solid B5 Blue Duster Twister with a 318 Automatic on the column. The car underwent a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration over the next few years (100's of hours invested) by a Mopar expert out of NY. This is a very unique Duster with a production date of July 9, 1971, the last day of scheduled production for that model year before summer shutdown. This is probably one of the last 1971 Dusters ever built. This awesome restoration was completed in 2006 and it is a blast to drive.

The original build sheet, gas cap, JVC CD changer and remote, owner's manual and South Carolina ownership information, photographs of the restoration are included in the sale.

The deck lid is off a later year car. The 70-71 Duster didn’t have a style line down the center of the deck lid. Very nicely done Mopar, love the rally cluster.

I have a '72 all original 3 speed 340. My Dad was either the first or second owner. He passed away and left it to me and my brother. Just like my Dad had to die to get him out of it, that is the only way you can get this car from me, out of my cold dead hands.
