I was expecting Chell to come back, shoot a portal on the wall, and trigger the turret again to break the glass on the pneumatic tube down the hall. Still adorable, though.

I expected chell to open the door briefly and give a thumbs up, the turret smiling in response (not because of the appreciative gesture, but getting another shot) then proceeds to shoot another rocket and miss.

On the bright side you can safely hug the rocket turret, their reaction time is too slow and even their firerate is the whole time Chell was in relaxation till Portal 2.
Just occasionally dodge the projectiles, feel free to nap with them even.

This kind of gets exponentially sad given how we find out turrets have emotion even in the base game and given how we don’t see them in portal 2 who knows what GLaDOS did to them.
