My dad used to say ALL the time around Christmas that Santa Claus had his "claws" into everything. He was a poet and a songwriter and he even wrote a song about how Santa Claus (only he spelled it "Claws") stole Christmas and made it about toys rather than the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How the act of "giving" soon was lost in the act of "getting" and then soon it became about "wanting" rather than "remembering" Gone was the true meaning of why we celebrate the birth of that baby who came to save us from our sins. The nativity sets were shoved to the back to make room for the big giant blow up red and white Santa Claws. And that's the way it's been for as long as I can remember. The more generations of children that get raised up in a world full of Santa Claws, the less baby Jesus will be talked about, and that's exactly what Satan wants, so it's ironic that even way back when I was a small child, I grew up with a father that bristled and fumed every year muttering about Santa's "claws" and now literally watching it unfold right in front of my eyes, so it's really no surprise to me that now they are "accidentally" (my foot) mispelling Santa and whoops (whatever 🙄) sending the letter to Satan instead of Santa. This is how they will slowly indoctrate our young children to be "ok" with Satan and how they will slowly teach young children that Satan's just the old sweet guy in the Christmas movie.... he ain't so bad! He's not evil! 🙄 Soon and very soon, kids won't even bat an eye at the mention of Satan and won't believe anyone when they try to tell them he's evil. Ugh. Grrr! My dad was exactly right about him. Every year, I despise Santa Claus too.. and won't even buy a package of gift tags if even one of them has Santa Claus depicted on it.

It's clear there's a deliberate shift away from focusing on Jesus, replacing Him with Santa, indulgent eating, and shopping. Reducing Christmas to "Xmas" is deeply troubling.
