I've never been so impressed with a foreign athletes ability to adapt to a second language like Juan Soto has. He has the mind & attitude Tatis is missing the most of.

"Owning the decisions you made" if he has done this then he is heading in the right direction. I hope he stays on track and continues to mature.

Tatis has been pretty much what we'd expect a 23-year-old with $330m coming to him to be. Young and stupid with the motorcycles and now the PEDs, but I can't say that I wouldn't have made mistakes if I were in his place. Not excusing what he did, but he owned it, time to move on at this point IMO. Let's hope this was the rock bottom point for him to make some changes to his career trajectory.

Obviously we all know what Soto meant by “he makes errors like the humans”,
but at first, I heard this as if Soto truly was a superhuman species, accidentally slipping up in his word choice when referring to us mortals....

Just think of how many mistakes Conor Mcgregor has made.. and he’s still at the top of the game. Tatis will be just fine as long as he lets his performance in the future do his talking.

There was only one way to approach this situation and that’s by telling the truth from the very beginning. The worse thing anyone can do is lie and make excuses. That only makes matters worse. We all witnessed that with the boneheaded excuses given by his mom, dad and Pedro. All different excuses might I add. I know they were just trying to protect him, but all they did was exacerbate the situation. I’m glad he finally met with the owner, management and now his teammates. The quicker you admit to the truth, apologize and accept responsibility for your actions, the quicker people forgive and forget. Now it’s up to Tatis Jr. to finally mature and act responsibly. He’s run out of second chances.

I still don’t think he has told the entire truth. I don’t believe the wrist injury was his only injury from that crash

Why would they have Soto talking about tatis .. when he hasn’t played with him in any games .. they should have someone that knows him better like musgrove and someone else
