$130 boat to tropical Lebanon (Rabbit Island) 🇱🇧

My friends: Fouad, @LukeDamant and I rented a $130 boat and invited some friends to go from Tripoli to Rabbit Island in Lebanon. We had a great time seeing the tropical side of Lebanon where we visited this tiny little island that takes about 45 minutes by boat to visit. Prior to hopping on the boat, we visit a Lebanese grocery store to pick up some essentials for the ride.

Shame on you Albert, the tour charge was a big rip off. I'd love to see you try to pull that off with a local, he'll rip you a new one then bust a double cap in.

I have a suggestion Mac...mention the date of filming at the beginning of each vlog, because all that will be left, years after you do these vlogs, are the date of upload. Also, the three of you put a smile on my face. The three of you come across as genuine, sweet, and kind people with a passion for discovery. I admire those traits.

Wow, you are in my Mina, this is where I was born. 8 metres away from the Mediterranean. FYI there are 7 islands off the coast of Mina

a tripoli local here, this place brings back sooo muchh memories, it used to be bustling and the boats bigger / accommodating more people, sadly the situation doesn't leave people with the mood and the finances to think about getting a time off :/

PS: the water is around 12 m deep in the middle between the port and island shore

Hi World Nomac! Nice video! Wow, the cost for boat ride was very expensive! Your friend Fouad is nice to take you to many places in Lebanon. You should meet Fouad’s family in their village and stay there for a while. Did you see the highest mountain Sawda in the distance on a clear day from the boat? When you are in Tripoli, you should visit Tripoli Citadel, Palace of Dreams in Bakhaoun village in the mountains near Tripoli, Zahlan Grotto and 40 Mountain’s Peak in Bqaa Safrin village. Also, you should hike up to Sawda and view almost all of Northern Lebanon, Northern and Western Syria, Cyprus and even Jounieh and Beirut on a clear day or night. Maybe you could stay at a campsite for the night. Bring your warm jacket and food and drinks there with you. Hope you enjoy your trip there.
Are you still planning to visit an ancient town of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon? If so, you should visit some ancient temples in the center of Baalbek. Since Baalbek is very close to the Syrian border, about 10-12 km away, be careful not to try to visit Syria there because of the civil war. Beirut is still waiting for you to visit some more interesting places before you leave Lebanon for the next destination maybe Israel or Jordan.

Omg, since youtube started to recommend your videos and I feel that I saw you before. Until today I just recalled where I saw you. You were close to Port of beirut in the last week of July, you were showing some syrian guys how your camera works, it was flying in the sky, they were amazed 😂 you were talking and explaining for them but none of them were understanding anything 😅. I was there taking some shoots for my video about beirut blast . You are always Welcomed in lebanon 🇱🇧

Lebanon is one of the most beautiful Arab countries and its people are cultured and love life. And whoever visits Lebanon once will return every time. Within an hour you are in the mountain skiing, and within half an hour you are in the sea swimming.
