“Her name is she”. This reminds me of the Arcadian representation of “Persephone” (aka ‘Dread’ Persephone, and later Kore meaning ‘girl’). Before she was this lovely springtime flower goddess she was worshipped as an underworld goddess LONG before Hades entered the mythological scene. Her name was Despoina as far as we can theorize, and saying her name was forbidden. People were careful saying her name, because saying her name might get her attention. And that’s scary. It’s theorized that’s why later she was called “Kore”, because it was a nam that had a very vague description so as to not invoke her attention.
