I'm part Russian but half Irish (but having a British accent) used to be in love with this song but everytime I would listen to it in my room when I swore nobody was home, my brother would walk in and ask, "why are you listening to this and not normal songs?" I told him that he can listen to what he wanted and I wouldn't bother him if he would do the same for me. He hopped on my bed and read a book listening to this song with me.

For those who dont know, this song is based in an actual person named rasputin. He was a russian "wizard" who was favored by the tsar (Nicholas II) of the russia. He wasnt actually a wizard tho, he was just very good with meds, and psychology. The "wizard' Rasputin had an affair with the tsars wife, yet Nicholas still liked him (probably because he never knew.) After the people of Russia had finally heard about a hobo living with the tsar, the prince tried to poison him with no success. He later had rasputin into a basement (around 2:30 am) and shot him. This did not off him tho, and he managed to flee to a courtyard, where he was shot again and thrown into the river via a hole in some ice. This i think not many people know about, but it is a fantastic piece of russian history.
