Minecraft on the 360 was just calm and relaxing, no complex or broken mechanics. It remembers us of the time we didn't have a lot to worry

I still play legacy because
1: the community
2: Frosty
3: one day I picked up my controller and played it and then after I said man bedrock sucks
4: I grew up with legacy

Two things I like about legacy console are the custom super flat worlds (I like building ships so a world of water is amazing.) and also the fact you can enchant any item compared to bedrock in which you can’t.

I miss this version so much, I’ve played Xbox One edition for about a couple of years but for most of my life I’ve been playing the Wii U version, my Wii U was lost (I found it again and plan to mod it soon) and unfortunately I couldn’t spend the last moments with my friends when it shut down. This video was a great deep dive into the great feeling and charm of playing this version. RIP Legacy.

5:40 Hey, I like console edition but still prefer the new textures. So much so that I bothered to mod the update file in order to have the new textures on an emulator.

You nailed it man. I made my first world ever on 360 on June 11, 2012. Eventually converted it to Java and still play on it now and then. Spent a long time in recent years playing back in TU1 of the 360 for nostalgia sake and a personal project. The constant music, comfort of a controller, and art aesthetic make it my personal choice overall too. TU1 on 360 for me just hits different than beta 1.6 on PC

I own xbox 360 and xbox One and PS3 edition. I still play an older version of xbox One edition because the world generation is just perfect. As a 17 year old, I miss playing with my brother on splitscreen and my cousin Kacey on her world as those times were way better than my life now. I wish there was a way to go back and experience Minecraft Legacy edition for the first time to feel the nostalgia from 2012. I started playing in 2013 on the PS3 and even after 11 years, I still have my first world. It is unplayable unfortunately as after 15 minutes the game crashes. If anyone can help me move it to bedrock I will be pleased.

Im somehow sad for 4J Studios, they made such a cool publication, but Microsoft stopped collaborating with them (as usual, the point is that Microsoft really loves money). I think the console edition would have continued to thrive because 4J were interested in it. Just imagine if the bedrock edition was developed by 4J Studios, it would be great, because Microsoft is quite greedy

I remember spending just most of my time playing the ps3 edition after school. Today's minecraft has definitely more stuff to enjoy but there was just this vibe from the old one that i love(d) so much. Also saw how you only have 36 subscribers but you released this great video. Btw if you didn't know him in the survival world was the smp that was the world the cage fight took place in, also when he was flying around in creative mode around pixel art it was the creative super flat that I met Frosty on, another thing is that when he used a fishing rod to pull me off the platform that was a mini game made with Redstone that I helped on.

I remember playing in 2013 when I was 3. And I think the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition was the golden age of my childhood. Thanks for making this video!

I still return to the PS3 version because it’s the version I first grew up playing Minecraft on and remembering the demo version with both TU12 and TU19 tutorial worlds which I played on alot from both. My favourite Mashup pack is Festive because of its music and fits the Christmas theme really well, though I only played the trial version of the mashup packs back then. For online, I was happy that it was free and had a lot of fun playing with friends through Battle mode with my favorite map Cove. Returning now to PS3 edition feels both nostalgic and a bit different than how it was back then. I still play on Java for building since it has a variety of building tools available like worldedit and litematica. I used to have worlds on my PS3 I built years ago, but I lost the saves unfortunately a few years ago in which at some point I may rebuild what I remember from those saves. Overall I will still come back to Legacy console edition often
