Guys, You don't have to necessarily stay away from them, they are harmless (unless you're afraid of reptiles). Blue tongue skinks are one of the calmer reptiles, and will only bite if you try and touch them when they're defensive.

Also you dont have to stay away from it. I'm extremely experienced in catching reptiles as well as mammals, and these guys will bite but they're not very hard to catch. Just put them back where you found em and itll be fine.
