This is a quick mark scheme for the 2023 Advanced Maths Paper 1 which was held on the 4th May 2023.

This video includes worked solutions to everything in the 2023 Advanced Higher Maths 2023 Paper 1.

Please note that these solutions are not official SQA Solutions and are just my own personal solutions to these questions.

Once the official mark scheme has been released by the SQA, I will update this video if needed with the proper mark allocations. Hopefully you will be able to see the explanations to each question and see where the SQA have put in topics. For further explanation of what the SQA left out of this years exam - look at my video on the whole of Advacned Higher Maths 2023 which explains everything in and out of Advanced Higher Maths 2023.

If you need further help with Advanced Higher Maths, are thinking of studying Advanced Higher Maths again next year or are moving onto to do Higher Maths, then subscribe to this channel and keep a look out for your course.

I am planning on doing in-depth video lessons for the whole of higher maths, the whole of national 5 maths and the whole of advanced higher maths in the coming year!

I put -pi/3 for b(ii) of the last question.Well, theoretically it means clcokwise 60 degrees but am I get any marks for that? The paper is kinda hard this year especially paper 2, I think I'll get around 90 or higher if I don't make any other silly mistakes 😢 thx for the vedio.

Thank you for this! Do you think I would loose a mark if I did not take out a common factor at the end of Q4?
