Landing New York Stewart International Airport

A very nice landing Sir. I worked in the area of Stewart for many years and it was always a joy to see the Air National Guard C5 Galaxy aircraft come into land in Stewart, especially when driving along Route 84, which parallels the runway. I have flown both into and out of Stewart many times and when the weather is bad, it is a very tough place to takeoff from or land in. On one trip, returning from Florida, the heavy cloud coverage and ground fog made the pilot do a fly-around and make a second attempt. On another trip to Florida, the heavy rain and wind caused the pilot to make an announcement on the ground that everyone, "Will maintain seatbelts/restraints", until a further announcement was made and there was not going to be any in-flight service. This was a very scary takeoff.
