I was born in Minneapolis and have lived all over the US including Honolulu, Boston, and New York City, and internationally in Japan for 3 years, 1 yr in Brazil and 1 yr in the Dominican Republic and have spent 2 years backpacking around the world seeing many other countries.
- How many languages do you speak?
English is my mother tongue, but I also speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese, a bit of conversational Japanese and I can understand French and a bit of Italian. I'd like to learn Arabic and Turkish next.

Step 5 for English Fluency : connect the new words in various ways ; connect with other old words / information that you already know or you're already familiar / comfortable with . Or connect the words that sound similar, or perhaps are synonyms either in English or in your native language . Or connect a new word with a feeling, or maybe a smell, or a sound . Or connect the idea of the word with something and make a phrase that you might use it in an everyday situation .
