Dove releases are cruel. Skip them.

White doves are domestic pigeons. While it is true that Homing Pigeons particularly developed sense of orientation, sometimes Ringneck Doves and King Pigeons are released. These species don't have that hyper developed sense of orientation and often die. Even the white Homing Pigeons have to escape predators, cars, and starvation as they attempt to find their way home.
