Quest for EVERY DIAMOND IN THE GAME!!! Bobwhite Quail, Ep.1 - Call of the Wild

I am challenging myself to finally have one of EVERY SINGLE DIAMOND in The Hunter Call of the Wild! There are quite a few diamonds that I do not have yet - 17 to be exact and one of them is the Bobwhite Quail! Quail are probably one of the most difficult diamonds to get in the game - being the tiny little critters that they are and they must be shot airborne or NO SCORE!

In today's video, we head out to Mississippi Acres to hunt Bobwhite Quail in their hotspots to see if we can FINALLY put that diamond in our lodge!

I very recently (probably one week ago) hopped on Mississippi to shoot whatever I saw and I notice a few bob white so I decided to focus on them. I went back to an outpost to grab a couple shotguns and then ran into the first field I saw. I heard a warning call from some bob whites so I ran at them and shot the first two that flushed. The first one that I claimed was a lvl 3 red brown male diamond. I was extremely lucky that day and was very excited about it.

16:37 if you shot a grounded quail I think you can look up the score in the latest harvest overview in your codex.

thats amazing how many of these quails you see, iv searched for these over and over, and have a super hard time even finding them on the maps let alone killing them

I read through some of the tutorial info in the menus and learned a lot a neat things I missed in my early play. Like 'night time' is 1900 to 0530, and that 'whistling' is for scaring up birds to make them take flight. You can do this while you have weapon ready and scoped in general area for fast take downs.

I got a diamond melanistic crocodile or alligator (I cant remember) on this map within 10 minutes of exploring

I think you can see the Trophy rating in the codex when they are grounded :)

if it makes you feel any better about the grounded Quail Lady, it was maxing out at i believe 1 score point under diamond (237) 😛

Good luck with a diamond Bobwhite quail I got a diamond male from Mississippi it took me and my friends 3+hours to get them found one on NEM and didn’t even mark it I just picked it up

I thought I would never find a diamonds in Mississippi I was wrong this last week I got 2 diamonds in Mississippi lv 3 quail (grey) 246 score and a lv 3 eastern wild turkey light brown then after so many trolls I finally got a black- white diamond feral goat plus a 265 diamond red deer of my red deer great one grind still no signs
