Discover the groundbreaking Rhodes MK8 MIDI system in the first of two exclusive live sessions filmed at The Nave. Experience the seamless integration of Rhodes' first-in-class proprietary MIDI system, combining the classic analogue warmth of the MK8 with cutting-edge digital capabilities.

The Rhodes MK8 MIDI system introduces advanced control, including high-resolution key position monitoring, Channel and Polyphonic Aftertouch, and a damper pedal sensor with multiple sustain modes. USB MIDI In/Out and DIN MIDI Out from both the keyboard and pedal ensure seamless connectivity. With isolated electronics and MIDI-addressable front panel controls, the system offers unparalleled integration without compromising the iconic Rhodes sound.

This video explores a sample of the MK8 MIDI features, including controlling external synths with keyboard split, controlling DAWs and blending the MK8 signal with MIDI instruments.

Rather than sending MIDI signals, I’d prefer this Rhodes to receive MIDI signals, just like a digital instrument.

@RhodesPiano @Rhodes Piano - I can send MIDI signal from DAW, including pitchbend, correct? I have modular synth, and just wanted to know if any MIDI loss happen.

??

The synth sound sounds like a cheap VSTi synth
Where did the Rhodes' signature EP sound go? With this kind of sound, there's no reason to buy it
