I'd put Castlevania on my top 10 list. Either one of them. Maybe not great games, but they were like a breath of fresh air when they came out. I needed that diversity on my N64.

Banjo Kazooie, Hydro Thunder, StarCraft 64 & especially Worms Armageddon are the games that keep me coming back to N64

Wave Race and 1080 Snowboarding are my favourite games on the console - maybe of all time.

N64 was a phenomenal system for sports and racers.

hey i loved james bond goldeye but about a year ago i bought from the uk goldfinger for the n64 did you ever play this one its like goldeneye bobby lee 007.

Not a bad list, everyone has their views on best or fave games, I think a more interesting list for the N64 would be hidden gems or underrated or underappreciated N64 games. Yeah, everyone is pretty much going to agree Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart, Goldeneye, etc will make a list. But hidden gems, maybe games time forgot like Beetle Adventure Racing, Ogre Battle 64, Fighters Destiny, Mischief Makers, the Turok trilogy, Doom 64, Winback, etc. I think N64 Only had about 300 games, but there were some seriously good underrated games.

No Mercy is definitely top-dog when it comes to wrestling on the N64. Between the roster, the moves and backstage areas, it's such a complete package. My only gripes are the short entrances and the character creator that's not nearly as fleshed out as WWF Attitude.

Mario Golf is so fun. I don’t remember if toadstool tour is that much better, but I picked it up recently and immediately got sucked in.

Also make sure to get a rumble controller because my mind was blown with all the subtle uses in random games.

I just finally found a 64 bundle that i payed up for. But it had some bangers so i caved and got it. Nice list guys. My top 10 is majoras mask, ocarina of time, mario kart, super mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect dark, mario party 2, super smash bros. banjo kazooie, conkers.

In no particular order, I think mine would include: Starfox 64, ocarina of time, majoras Mask, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Pokemon Snap, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Bomberman Second Attack, and Harvest Moon 64

You lost me with Ocarina of Time not being on top. Clearly youre not a N64 fan.. youre a wrestling fan. Because when you argue things like story, soundtrack, and artistic design you clearly cant say that "No Mercy" is number 1. I know its your opinion or whatever, but clearly its a shallow and sad one at that.

Jet Moto is not a jet ski game! First of all they can go on land they’re futuristic vehicles. Second of all the soundtrack. The soundtrack!

I like your top 10 not for myself but the fact that you put games that you actually like and not what IGN likes. I would’ve included Turok One and two, Iggy‘s wrecking balls, and definitely blast corps.

PS time to get movin! (if you’ve played blast corps this would be ingrained)

No Resident Evil 2??? It's on a cartridge and it's 2 Disks on everything else. I think it's awesome. Great game.

Lol, a wrestling game as #1. I mean I get it, I was hugely into wrestling at that point in time when the game came out. The past 20 years? Meh, not so much. Oh yeah, I just remembered... I believe my aunt worked for the WWF at some point in the early 90s briefly. Coincidentally the WWE has been putting up a lot of job postings lately, and I am in the market for a new job, but they don't exactly fit the bill so to speak.
