Asad zanzibar is the worst blind buy for me. Never buy without sampling, and don't be influenced by the hype by some youtube channels, they hype every new scent on market to get views

It's a good change of pace when fragrance reviewers are expressing their negative but honest opinion on a fragrance especially since a lot of people go by what they recommend us buy and thus might help us avoid wasting money on something which we might not enjoy.

That being said I for one enjoy 9am dive a lot but then again someone like Mehdi here who I'm sure has hundreds of perfumes might have some which are similar so I see his point of view. I got it, if I remember correctly, because I heard it's somewhat of a Blue de Chanel clone and since the original is way to expensive I decided to get 9am which I enjoy very much.

If you don't like erba pura, I guess you don't like amber oud gold edition either. I was wearing it today and it's really grown on me more and more. Such a positive vibe from that frag!

From this list i only own Zanzibar and i know what you mean, but strangely i keep getting good compliments with this. Maybe it smells better in the Air and to other ppl than it does to us lol

I have 2 in my collection that I regret buying.

Milano Prive by Pandora Scents, which is a clone of 1 Million Prive. The scent is fine but it smells off to me.

CDN Oud by ARMAF, which is a clone of Erba Pura. It does lean more feminine in the opening, but it becomes very masculine in the drydown and very strong. But the scent is not for me.

I was so disappointed when I smelled YSL myself. And Erba pura gets me the weirdest comments. I was told I smell like the hospital

I mostly regret blind buying, especially when it comes to some “classics”, cheapies or hyped up fragrances. It’s not that I don’t like them, but simply don’t wear them, so I find them redundant.

Keep it real. Everyone is different. You didn't like them, but at least you admitted that there's some good attributes to them. Do you have fragrances that you didn't like at first, but now you do like them.? Or what do you like that most people don't like 🤔

Definitely don’t like erba pura, glad I got a decant. Zanzibar has a nice opening and goes downhill from there. I would add fursian, too much pineapple and too sweet for my taste. Coral fantasy isn’t bad but not my type of scent profile, I gave it to my brother who loves it.

I bought Asad Zanzibar as a blind buy without ever smelling JPG lea beau but I’m not a fan of Zanzibar. It almost has this too sweet, coconut pulp/milk smell that’s very off putting
