2018 Kia Stinger – Review and Road Test

The Stinger is a rear or all-wheel drive, Nürburgring-tuned sports sedan sculpted from hood to trunk with serious grand touring style. It’s also a Kia. As a departure from the sensible, modestly-priced cars on which the brand built its reputation the Stinger is a daring foray for Kia into the premium performance car category. The commercial for this car in the USA are actually pretty well made. I was at a bar this weekend and the commercial caught peoples attention, such as, "woah what is that", "new bmw?" etc. then when the name was revealed people were all like, "Oh shit, that's a Kia"

We have made some huge improvements in the KIA Stinger GT performance. It has to be one of the most underrated cars we have had in our shop. We have been testing for the last 4 months couldn't be happier with the results from a few performance parts.

I like this design language for the stinger but I am not so sure about the rear end of the car.

It does seem to be a stretch to reach the infotainment center from the driver's seat. Well, sumbigdes! You mean that I'd have to pull over to manipulate the thing?!! The iron'y of distracted-driving accidents is not lost on me here.
