Nobody left behind, if you feel you can't do an activity the group stays with you to help and encourage.
It works.

For some years we had OB pulling boats on Cheaspeake Bay, and their anchorage was on Wye Island. So here is a little puzzle for the "experts."
The Sally M left her dock on the Wye River with a crew of 12 students and two instructors, and headed up the Wye against the current. There were mile markers along the shore, and as they passed mile marker one, Sarah's favorite hat blew off. But the crew refused to turn around right away and kept on rowing up the Wye for 15 minutes until they finally got tired of Sarah's whining and turned the Sally M around to go look for Sarah's hat. When they reached that lost hat, they noticed that they were at the very dock that they had left. The question is: what was the speed of the current on the Wye River? Assume a constant current velocity and a constant boat speed as well as a zero turn-around time. You have all the info that you need!

I’m going to try to get my middle school scholarship for this. I think I need a place to face my fears and challenge myself.

What if you don't know how to swim or rock climb, can I get in even though I don't know how to do those things?
