New subsriber, love the content! I have a question about multi-factor authentication on this. So I'm running through the microsoft link for creating an app-principal for the sharepoint folder, but all the online resources tells me to go through a different library to apply the client id and client secret. (Office365-REST-Python-Client library)

Does Shareplum have a similar function to mimic the REST client library, or how would I incorporate that library into this one? Thanks!

Hey, thanks really useful video, just some python notes - when you use 'with open' when file writing you don't need the close() it does it automatically. Also when using classes and setting self.variable, you don't have to have a function return them once set in the class, you can access them anytime through just calling self.variable

I"m new to your videos and found you bcuz I need to use python to download files from SharePoint, but the SharePoint uses multifactor auth. So i was thinking that I would just use excel to pull the URLs and then python with pandas and requests to download files from the URLs. But I'm watching this video. I hope I can do this without the MFA being a problem.

Hi Lu, I am experiencing issues as I was able to download said file, but the file is labelled as "Excel cannot open file because the file format or extension is not valid.", this happened even on my private Sharepoint that does not have additional security. I tried double checking all the files and downloaded individually from Sharepoint and was able to use and launch it like normal. I tried finding solutions online but am still unable to solve said problem, would appreciate ur assistance!
