I can vouch for the points you made. I thru-hiked the AT last year, and I will add that it's taking me a lot longer to physically recover than I expected! I've been off trail since 11/8 and my feet are still only about 80% back to normal. Also, some of my joints are still not what they were before I started. I've regained almost all the weight I lost on the trail, but I may never get back to the "normal" baseline I was at before I started, physically speaking. But then again, I'm also in my 50s, so there's that. 🙄

1:27 I meant take all of the shopping bags at once, not thinking that you'd never carried your own shopping. I'm just more of a "pick all of the bags up at once and only have to do one trip from the car to the front door" kinda guy. But damn, it leaves your fingers looking like they've been crushed in a mincer.
