it always astonishes me how kissin memorizes so much music. his repertoire is massive.

I love Mr.Kissin.No matter whom he plays, I feel such tenderness, such fine light touch, it must come from his beautiful soul and touches me deeply.

There is only one thing wrong with Kissin’s playing: He doesn’t do it often enough in Montreal Canada. Come one Mr Kissin!!! We love you over here as much as over there:)))) It has been years since your last visit.

I have to say when reading comments ...people who say it should have been done with a slower tempo and there were those who said it should have been with a faster temp...isn't this all a matter of interpretation..? This performance was at the peak of professional piano playing ..how and why could anyone who is not up on the stage themselves make statements like that...now if they would say I " I prefer a faster tempo" that is ok ..but to say " it was supposed to be .." I just don't think that is the right way to put it.

His Pathétique is just right IMO - first movement not frantically fast, as some virtuosi play it, and the Adagio flows beautifully

Evgeny Kissin is amazing! He really paints a beautiful picture with every note 🎶 of Beethoven’s music! He is excited to watch! I had the opportunity to see him live in Boston and he performed Mussorgski’s “Pictures at an Exhibition!” Love ❤️ his interpretation, his technique and of course is showmanship! He is subperb! 🎶🎼🎹

Finally a pianist that plays the Tempest 1st mvt main theme with the notes distributed as Beethoven wrote them! Makes such a difference to the clarity and character.
